Found this lovely coffee shop by chance. Really made welcome and got 10% off the drinks as I attempted to speak in Gaelic. It was applauded by a lovely local lady to whom we chatted to whilst enjoying the coffee and cake. Wonderful place.

We stumbled across this lovely café on our visit to Stornoway last week. It was super cozy, with every staff member being very welcoming and the food being delicious! Further they encourage people to learn something about the gaelic language, therefore they also sell many books and souvenirs on this subject. In the end we even had a pleasant talk with the owner who gave us some great recommendations!

The coziest cafe i‘ve been to in my vacation in scotland! Coffee & food is amazing, and the gaelic speaking adds to a nice atmosphere and even you as a guest are encouraged to learn a few words. The decor is also very pleasing! Tìoraidh and until next time! :)

We are visiting from Canada and stumbled into this little cafe dripping wet in a downpour. It is a very welcoming spot and we had a great cheese toastie with salad and a pot of tea. We were back and brought some friends a week later. They loved it as much as we did. Great atmosphere and you can even learn a little Gaelic!

Lovely little cafe. I got to visit here on a school trip from across seas and everyone was so friendly! Food tasted delicious and there were many neat things in the gift shop. Absolutely worth a visit and the locals are always willing to have a nice chat. Can’t recommend enough!
